Company spotlight · 2019 newsletter
LodgeVision Hospitality TV: A 2019 snapshot.
This company-provided Hospitality TV newsletter, Issue No. 4 from October–December 2019, describes LodgeVision’s commercial television work, team, and recognition at that point in the company’s history.
Documented context
Commercial television work, described in the company’s own newsletter.
The newsletter says Star Connection began by servicing television customers in rural Wisconsin and later expanded into the commercial segment as LodgeVision. It presents the company’s work as a guided process: helping plan equipment locations and connections, mapping a channel lineup, coordinating installation timing, and training property staff.
It also describes the Evolve in-room entertainment solution as an option centered on guests’ own content. The document’s practical emphasis is clear: understand the property, coordinate the work, and stay available for questions after the installation.
Recognition
2018 and 2019 Commercial Retailer of the Year.
The newsletter identifies LodgeVision / Star Connection as receiving DISH Commercial Retailer of the Year recognition in both 2018 and 2019. It describes the 2019 award as the first time a retailer had received the recognition in back-to-back years.
